I redesigned the Singu referral program experience. The goal was to increase conversion rates for users referred through the app.
Singu is Brazil's leading at-home beauty services app, connecting customers with certified professionals for manicure, massage, hair removal, and more across major cities. Operating across São Paulo, Rio, Belo Horizonte, and Brasília, the platform became Brazil's leading at-home beauty services app. In 2023, it was acquired by Natura and evolved into Bluma, validating its market-fit and operational model.

Users can share their referral link with friends and family who have not yet placed an order on the app. Once your friend uses your code, they will receive a R$20.00 discount on their first service order on the app. When the order is completed, you will receive R$20.00 as a credit to use on a service order.

Problem
The referral screen overwhelmed users with competing CTAs and dense text blocks. No clear hierarchy meant users couldn't quickly understand how the program worked or what action to take first. Credit balance and referral status were invisible, leaving users with no sense of progress or reward.

Goals
After identifying the issues that were harming users, we decided to define goals that would guide the project so that all collaborators were on the same page.
Helping users
Easily share the invite link with your friends and family
Help Singu
Increase the number of referrals, making the experience fun, dynamic, simple and scalable.
Help growth
Optimize your Refer & Earn program for business growth and make it the #1 acquisition channel
Jobs to be done
The key user tasks the new interface needed to support.
Invitation
Invited users should be able to easily share their referral code with their friends.
Sharing
Users should be able to quickly invite people from their social networks.
Tracking
Users should be able to see who they have invited in the past and track their total referral rewards.
📍 Our vision
Sharing Singu with your friends and family should be fun, intuitive, dynamic and rewarding.
Solution
It took a few weeks to arrive at the final composition of this interface and this was the desired result. Prioritized visibility and clarity through a single-screen redesign—prominent credit tracking at the top, quick-access sharing buttons, and a clear three-step explanation of how the program works.

The redesign simplifying the sharing flow and adding progress visibility, though detailed metrics remained internal to Singu's team — a common reality of third-party engagements where the client retains performance data internally.
